2021 Reading Goals
Okay so partaking in NovelKnight’s Beat the Backlist challenge didn’t go too well last year and I only made it up to Queen of Shadows in the Throne of Glass books. I am really enjoying them though! There’s just been other things to read that were highly anticipated and thus took priority over the books I put on my list.
I read a total of 67 books in 2020, 28 were audiobooks and 39 were physical/ebooks. A quick summary of my top 10 reads of 2020:
- The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by VE Schwab
- A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik
- Saga (series)
- Throne of Glass (series) but Queen of Shadows was my favorite installment so far.
- Red, White, and Royal Blue
- King of Crows (The Diviners series)
- The Hazel Wood
- The Grace Year
- Aurora Burning
- TRUEL1F3
Some of those might be in varying order, I just kinda wrote them as I remembered them.
So here’s to 2021 and getting to the books below:
- Finish Throne of Glass series
- From Blood and Ash (before March?)
- ACOSF
- Crescent City
- Grishaverse (first five?)
- An Ember in the Ashes
- Finale (Caraval #3)
- Scythe
- Renegades
- Marie Lu books I haven’t read
- More book box books.
Okay that’s like.... 25+ books right there. Let’s see how many I can check off that list!
Maybe I’ll try to do a monthly wrap up of books I’ve read here if not individual reviews? We’ll see, I always forget to post.
Oh and my most anticipated book of 2021 is probably Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff, already preordered two copies!
